Awaiting Wisdom
Dear Metal Gods,
Help! I have a hot lead to sell a manuscript to my publisher on the West Coast next week but my husband wants me to go on a family holiday instead. I know I can only pull off the deal if I take the publisher out to a lavish lunch. Time is of the essence. I’m really conflicted. What should I do?

Dear Caroline,
Being a Metal God, I’ve never been faced with the quandry of needing to be in two places at once. As you know, Metal Gods have total power over both time and space. Thus, we have the ability to exist in many places at once.
But since you mortals cannot, I will help you.
I believe the real question here is, why is your husband such a wuss?
Maybe if he pulled his weight around there you wouldn’t need to be out prostituting scripts to dodgey publishers to make ends meet.
