Unappreciated
Help me Metal Gods….I have spent the past 15 years of my life taking care of my family, and I feel totally taken for granted. Its so depressing. How do I get them to appreciate all that I do for them? I am looking forward to being enlightened by your wisdom.

Dear Unappreciated,
Consider this: do you wake up everyday and thank the heavens that you have two arms and two legs? Probably not, yet if you were to awake one morning missing said arms and legs, you would surely curse the day. Then if the fates made it so that your missing limbs magically reappeared you would certainly appreciate your ability to stand and open jars as never before.
Thus your only course of action is to entirely cut off your family. Simply walk away. Let the hapless fools fend for themselves. After a while when their spirits have been broken and they’ve resorted to eating cat food and sleeping under bridges you will reappear, to be hailed as their savior and appreciated as never before.
In the words of the Metal Gods Accept from their song “Heaven is Hell” when dealing with family always remember: “You shouldn’t kill your brother except if he doesn’t know what’s right.”
